Hurstwood Lane housing

An outline planning application for 375 houses, primary school, burial ground and allotments has been submitted by Homes England for the land south of the Haywards Heath by-pass, which was allocated for housing in the Neighbourhood Plan.  Details can be seen and comments submitted here, quoting reference DM/22/2272.

New improved village website

It is 10 years since this website was started and it is now overdue for a refresh.  A new improved version is being developed and it is hoped to be ready for going live in September.

Cycle/walkway funding request

Following the study of alternative routes by the SHLAT Group for a new dedicated cycling & walking path between Scaynes Hill and Lindfield a slide pack outlining the case for the project has been prepared and can be seen here. This has been included with other documents in support of an application for funding to the West Sussex County Council Community Highways Scheme. It is understood that this will be considered at a moderation meeting in October. If you want to be kept up to date on developments see our Cycle-Walk page.

Access to Woodland survey
